Apple Vision Pro doesn’t support Bluetooth mice
People have gotten their hands on the Apple Vision Pro and the reviews of the mixed-reality handset are also out. However, there’s still a lot we don’t know about the Vision Pro. One of the things we don’t know about the headset is what kind of accessories it supports. Well, Apple has now provided information on the matter in a new support page, and one of the things it reveals could be disappointing for many people.
According to Apple, The Vision Pro doesn’t support Bluetooth mice (or wired mice as there are no ports on the headset), which means that you can’t use mice with the headset in general. However, the company says that you can use “most Bluetooth keyboards made by Apple and other manufacturers” and that the Vision Pro “also works with Apple Magic Trackpad.” So, if you want to use a pointing device with the headset, you’ll have to go with the Apple Magic Trackpad.
Recently, we also got to know that the Vision Pro’s battery is three times larger than the iPhone 15 Pro’s battery and that the headset lacks support for Wi-Fi 6E and UWB. On the brighter side, there are more than 600 applications on the App Store designed especially for the Vision Pro (and visionOS) along with more than 150 spatial movies in the Apple TV app. Expect more details about the headset to come out in the next few weeks.
