Apple Releases iOS 13.3.1 and iPadOS 13.3.1 with new features and bug fixes
Apple has released iOS 13.3.1 as well as the latest iPadOS today. Updates have also been made available for Apple Watch via watchOS 6.1.2. The new iOS update from Apple addresses a long list of bug fixes and introduce some new features. Apple has also released iOS 12.4.5 for older iPhones.
Managing Location Services for Ultra Wideband Chip
One of the new features that has been added into iOS 13.3.1 centers around U1 ultra wideband chip.
Staring with iOS 13.3.1, you can now use a setting to control the use of location services by the Ultra Wideband chip.
Tap on Privacy > Location Services > Scroll down to System Services at the bottom. Tap here and locate ‘Networking and Wireless’ toggle. You can switch off location sharing from here.

- Fixes an issue in Communication Limits that could allow a contact to be added without entering the Screen Time passcode
- Addresses an issue that could cause a momentary delay before editing a Deep Fusion photo taken on iPhone 11 or iPhone 11 Pro
- Resolves an issue with Mail that could cause remote images to load even when the “Load Remote Images” setting is disabled
- Fixes an issue that could cause multiple undo dialogs to appear in Mail
- Addresses an issue where FaceTime could use the rear facing ultra-wide camera instead of the wide camera
- Resolves an issue where push notifications could fail to be delivered over Wi-Fi
- Addresses a CarPlay issue that could cause distorted sound when making phone calls in certain vehicles
- Introduces support for Indian English Siri voices for HomePod
The iPadOS 13.3.1 adds the following features and bug fixes according to the release notes.
The iPadOS 13.3.1 update:

The iOS and iPadOS 13.3.1 updates are available on all eligible devices over-the-air in the Settings app. Tap on Settings > General > Software Update to get started with the update. If you have an older older iPhone, you should be able to locate iOS 12.4.5 as an option.
