Apple iPhone 13 event wrap-up

In keeping with tradition, Apple had a jam-packed September event, with plenty of new hardware. The new iPhone 13 lineup was the main event. The familiar design got refined with smaller notches and a different arrangement for the cameras on the non-Pro models.

The cutting-edge A15 Bionic chipset is powering the entire lineup, with the Pro duo getting a slightly beefier GPU. The iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max got the eagerly-anticipated 120Hz screens and there were camera upgdes across the board.

The entry-level iPad 10.2 got a more minor refresh with A13 Bionic replacing the A12, a more capable front camera and twice the base storage.

Last, but not least the Apple Watch Series 7 manages to stretch the display 20%, without changing the wearable’s overall footprint. The Series 7 also promises to be tougher than its predecessor and charge up to 33% faster.
