Android 13 and One UI 5.0 update is available for these Samsung Galaxy devices

The Galaxy S22 series of phones has officially begun to receive the stable Android 13 and One UI 5.0 update, giving millions of owners of the S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra some excellent new features to improve their user experience.

Samsung ran a One UI 5.0 beta program for the Galaxy S22 lineup for two months or so to gain user feedback and test out the new software before deploying it globally, and it is currently busy testing One UI 5.0 many other Galaxy flagships, including all of its foldable phones launched since (and including) the Galaxy Z Flip and the Galaxy Z Fold 2 .

Samsung is expected to update all its 2021 and 2022 flagships (and at least one mid-range phone) to Android 13 before the end of the year. And to help you keep track of which devices have received the stable One UI 5.0 update, we’ve compiled a list that you can check out below.

Every Galaxy device updated with official version of Android 13 and One UI 5.0

  • Galaxy S22
  • Galaxy S22+
  • Galaxy S22 Ultra

We will update this list once more Galaxy devices start to pick up the stable Android 13 and One 5.0 update (the finished version, not the beta ones that were available in some countries), so we recommend bookmarking this page in your browser. As usual, keep in mind that the update’s availability will differ by country and it may take time for it to arrive in yours even if the device you own is already included in the list above.

Once Android 13 and One UI 5.0 are available for your smartphone or tablet, you will be able to download it from the device’s Settings » Software update section. An alternative route is to download firmware from the SamMobile archive to flash your device manually. However, if you aren’t very adept at manual flashing, it’s best to ride it out and wait for the update to roll out over the air.

Oh, and another tip: be sure to back up all important data before installing Android 13. While chances of an update going wrong is very slim, it’s always good to have something to fall back on. You can backup your data using Samsung Smart Switch on a PC or to an external USB drive connected to your phone, and we highly recommend doing it to avoid any issues.
