The Galaxy Note 20 series started getting the Android 12 update last week in Switzerland. The update made it to the US yesterday via Verizon for the carrier-locked versions of the phones, but the unlocked models were left out. Now, Samsung has started rolling out the update to the unlocked Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in the US.
The Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update for the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra comes with firmware version N98xUSQS2EULF. Right now, the update is available on Comcast and Xfinity Mobile’s networks, but it could expand to more networks over the next few days. Unfortunately, the update still uses the December 2021 security patch and not the latest January 2022 patch.
If you are a Galaxy Note 20 or Galaxy Note 20 Ultra user in the US, you can check for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
