Amazon Games’ shooter Crucible hasn’t done extremely well since it was released back in May. The game has seen an average player count of around 150 players at max for the past couple of weeks, per Steam Charts. Today, the developers at Relentless Studios announced that Crucible is going back into closed beta.
The beta will be accessible to anyone who purchased the game. If you’re interested in getting into the beta, you’ll want to buy Crucible before 9 a.m. PT tomorrow. Crucible will still be launched through Steam. Players will keep everything they’ve already earned and the battle pass will remain accessible. At some point in the future, the developers will be organizing sessions to play with the community to help gain feedback.
Crucible is one of the different titles Amazon Game Studios is using as part of its push into gaming. The colonial-inspired New World was delayed to August 25 due to the ongoing pandemic.
