Microsoft’s latest wave of hardware unveilings lies around the corner, as its scheduled New York City event drops on October 2. The annual showcase will feature the latest on new Surface family revisions, with refreshes of its signature Surface Laptop and Surface Pro entries expected. We also hear rumor of the long-awaited dual-screen Centaurus device, welcoming a new hardware category and modern flavor of Windows.
Notorious Microsoft leakster WalkingCat has now posted a quartet of sleek landscapes, likely to feature across its refreshed Surface line. Although provided with no context, the images are expected to feature across the new Surface family, with vistas corresponding to device colorways. New sandstone, poppy red, and ice blue devices are suggested, steps away from former muted finishes. The leaked wallpapers are stunning… but don’t hit a viable resolution for daily use yet.
Microsoft’s upcoming Surface refreshes are expected to deliver a much-needed shakeup, packing Intel’s new 10th Gen CPUs alongside wider USB-C adoption. We also hear rumors of a larger, 15-inch variant of the Surface Laptop that might pack a selection of AMD chips, although remains to be confirmed ahead of October 2.
