Age of Wonders: Planetfall ‘Invasions’ DLC launches, adds lizardmen

Recently, Paradox Interactive and Triumph Studios announced ​a new expansion for Age of Wonders: Planetfall. Planetfall is a strategy game from the team behind critically-acclaimed experiences like Overlord. The Invasion expansion launches on May 26 and is available with the ​season pass.​ ​As expected, it’s coming to Xbox One and PC.

In the stardust and disunity of the collapsed Star Union, an insidious new race of conquerors has come to lay claim to the galaxy. Deploy and destroy as the merciless Shakarn, a vicious race of conniving lizardmen.

In Windows Central’s review, Brendan Lowry wrote, “In the end, I think you’ll love this game if you’re a tactics fan and you enjoy some casual strategy focus on the side. If you’re a massive strategy fan, though, this game will likely disappoint you.”
