A Total War Saga: Troy is the next Saga game in the long-running Total War franchise. These Saga games are smaller in scale, focusing on a particular critical timeframe in history. Today, the developers at Creative Assembly shared the news that A Total War Saga: Troy is aiming to release on August 13, exclusively on the Epic Games Store.

When it is released, it’ll be free for one day. If you grab it in that time period, you’ll get to keep it forever. It’ll be exclusive to the Epic Games Store for one year. Creative Assembly also explained that this would not affect future Total War games, which may release on the Epic Games Store but will not be exclusive.

Total War: Warhammer III is likely the next game coming after A Total War Saga: Troy but there’s been no official announcements made yet.
