A second ID@Xbox Showcase will drop more indie news next week

ID@Xbox is a wonderful program at Xbox that supports and enables indie developers to bring their games to Xbox and Xbox Game Pass, often resulting in some of the best gaming experiences you can find on the console. Earlier this year, the ID@Xbox Showcase in March was chock full of game announcements and reveals (even if it was far too long), and now the follow-up to that event is official. Xbox just announced that the second ID@Xbox Showcase is airing on Twitch early next week.

The second ID@Xbox Showcase is officially happening on Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. PT / 12:00 p.m. ET, and will feature indie game reveals from publishers like Rebellion, Chump Squad, and more. There will also be plenty of updates on exciting upcoming games like Ollie Ollie World and more. Many of these games will even come to Xbox Game Pass, and may feature live game demos during the event.

While the first ID@Xbox Showcase indubitably dragged on just a little bit too long, it was still wonderful to see what all the talented indie devs were working on, and now we’ll be treated to a fresh wave of indie goodness. Many of these games will be arriving on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One consoles, and may even make it onto our list of best Xbox games. You’ll have to tune in next week (or keep an eye on Windows Central) to find out.
