A retail listing shows the specs of the Intel Core i9-12900K Alder Lake CPU

Leaks continue to appear for the upcoming Intel Core i9-12900K CPU. Earlier this week, a Reddit user managed to purchase a couple of the chips even though they haven’t been officially announced. Now, a retail listing from Micro Center includes details of the flagship Alder Lake processor (via The Verge). The listing suggests that the chip will cost $670 and start shipping on November 4, 2021.

According to the listing, the Core i9-12900K has a 3.2GHz operating frequency and a turbo speed of 5.2GHz. It’s said to have 16 cores, 24 threads, and 30MB of L3 cache. The spec table shows a thermal power of 125W, support for DDR5 memory, and PCIe Gen 5. The flagship processor will be compatible with the Intel Z690, Intel H670, Intel B660, and Intel H610 motherboards.
