A new Battlefield 2042 story trailer revives Battlefield 4 cast
One of the most anticipated games of the year is Battlefield 2042, the chaotic and action-packed follow-up to the long-running multiplayer shooter Battlefield franchise. When Battlefield 2042 arrives later this year, it stands a good chance at becoming one of the best Xbox games, but it’ll do so bereft of any kind of traditional single-player campaign, despite taking place in a storied and detail-filled near-future world.
Similar to some other multiplayer-only games like Apex Legends and Overwatch, Battlefield 2042 is letting its players get a glimpse into the war-torn world through new short film story trailers. You can watch the first trailer, Exodus, below.
Battlefield 2042 arrives for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation on Oct. 22, 2021, and it already looks incredible.
If you want a chance to play Battlefield 2042 early, be sure to read up on the Battlefield 2042 beta. Finally, in case you missed it, some raw gameplay of Battlefield 2042’s first closed technical preview was leaked, giving players another look at what to expect from the multiplayer shooter.
