Halo Infinite is getting closer to launch, with the developers at 343 Industries continuing to squash bugs reported in the latest technical flights for the game. The team also shared on Thursday via Xbox Wire that Halo Infinite is still getting ray tracing post-launch. 343i explains that the team is partnering with AMD to work on ray tracing and that adding it is one of the team’s “top development priorities” for the game after launch.

This partnership with AMD also extends to making the PC version as good as it can possibly be, possibly joining the ranks of the best PC games available, alongside a special limited edition RX 6900 XT GPU. While this sleek graphics card won’t be available for purchase, several are being given away in the near future.

Halo Infinite is currently slated to launch on Dec. 8, 2021 for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One and PC. Like all first-party Xbox titles, it’ll be available in Xbox Game Pass day one.
