343 Industries expected to give a ‘high level update’ on Halo Infinite soon

In a comment on Reddit, 343 Industries’ Community Director Brian Jarrard stated that the Halo developer is aiming to try to provide a “high level update” on Halo Infinite in the coming weeks, though the game won’t be making an appearance at The Game Awards show this year.

As you can see in the full statement, the goal of this update is to “restart this journey together” with fans by committing to greater transparency and communication with the Halo fanbase moving forward. Considering a lack of transparency is one of the biggest issues the community has with the studio right now, this is good to hear. There’s no telling what specifically this “high level update” will be, but if we had to guess, we expect that it will be a lengthy and in-depth blog post with countless work-in-progress images and thorough developer commentaries. Ultimately, though, only time will tell.
